BRANCH is part funded by European Regional Development Funding (ERDF) through the INTERREG III Community Initiative. The North West Europe IIIB strand is devoted to strengthening European transnational co-operation in the field of spatial development, promoting balanced and sustainable territorial development.

10 partners collaborate transnationally to deliver BRANCH: Alterra, Conservatoire de l’espace littoral et des ravages lacustres, Environment Agency, Environmental Change Institute, Hampshire County Council, Kent County Council, Natural England, Provincie Limburg, Tyndall Centre for Climate Change Research (both the University of East Anglia and University of Southampton).

By working together across Europe, BRANCH partners examine the impacts of climate change from an international perspective, exchanging experience, sharing knowledge and achieving transferable results that are more beneficial than if partners worked in isolation.
